Salmo 119:1-8 "Dichoso por la Palabra" (Ultimos 5 minutos)

What’s Next?

“Pastor, church just isn’t the same… when will it be normal again?” I don’t know. The Church is in a wilderness of sorts. But remember – the wilderness is not a curse. It is a blessing. The promises of God don’t change. They are tried and true (Ps. 119:140). Without faith in God’s Word, we will misdiagnose the problem and prescribe the wrong solutions. The world hates the wilderness, but Christians have an enduring perspective on seasons of testing. Consider […]

Coronavirus Survey Results

Dear Christ Fellowship, Thank you for taking the time to fill out the coronavirus survey. We received more than 50 responses! The officers have considered this valuable information carefully and prayerfully. This is what we heard: Only a few people in our church have been directly impacted by the virus, health-wise. Economically, there are several immediate and developing needs. More than 20 people have lost some, most, or all of their income! Most of you are concerned about others in […]

Coronavirus Response

Updated June 20, 2020 After much prayer and discussion, the officers of Christ Fellowship (elders and deacons) have decided to resume public worship, with several precautions: • For now, we will offer one public worship service at 10:30am in English only. A Spanish service will continue to be offered online only at 11:30am. • Individuals who are sick or at high risk of infection should continue worshiping at home via the live stream. Please read the CDC guidelines regarding this. […]

Better Together

“For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Romans 12:3-5 I’m a…

Weekly Update – August 10, 2017

Dear CFC family, Several adults and young people are planning to take their adoption vows on Sunday, August 27! Some of them will also be baptized that day. A few prefer to be immersed, so we will have a special baptism service that Sunday evening. More details will be available next week, but if you want to be adopted into the church let me know! I will schedule an adoption class for those interested. If you need to be baptized,…

Weekly Update – August 3, 2017

Dear CFC family, We’re not a business… so why would we take time to publish an “annual report”? Our goal in providing an annual report is simple: we want to document the many ways God has been faithful to our church! It is an opportunity for us to reflect on specific ways we can thank God together for all He has done. As you prayerfully consider the document, please let us know if you have questions. We want to be…

2017 Annual Report

Every year, we will take time to reflect back on God’s faithfulness to us. Please prayerfully consider the Lord’s grace to Christ Fellowship this past year: 2017 Annual Report

Weekly Update – July 27, 2017

Dear CFC family, I’ll be honest… We don’t have a lot to offer you. We don’t have a lot of programs. We don’t have a fancy place to meet. We’re not trying to impress anyone. All we have to offer is Jesus. We actually hope to strip everything else away so that He doesn’t get lost in the mix. We are just a bunch of unremarkable people. We don’t even have that much in common. But we have Jesus. The…

Weekly Update – July 12, 2017

Dear CFC family, God is doing something amazing with Christ Fellowship! It was never part of my plans for us to become a bi-lingual church, but His ways are not my ways. I am so thankful for our Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters. I am so encouraged by their love for one another and their heart for the lost. Praise God for what He is doing in our midst! Please make plans to join us Sunday, August 6 after worship for…

Weekly Update – July 5, 2017

Dear CFC family, We received so much positive feedback regarding the bi-lingual sermon that we have decided to try it again! It is not what many of us are used to, but we are willing to sacrifice a little comfort for the sake of our brothers and sisters in Christ who speak Spanish. I left so encouraged Sunday by what the Lord is doing. We will have children’s ministry available on Sunday. Also, mark your calendar for August 6 and…

Weekly Update – June 28, 2017

Dear CFC family, We are trying something new Sunday. For the first time ever, Jaime and I will be team-preaching in English and Spanish. Our vision is to be One in Christ no matter what languages we speak and no matter what our backgrounds may be. Let us know what you think and pray for us! Our fiscal year ends Friday and we currently have a deficit. If you are able, consider giving to help with this need. www.onehornlake.org/give One…
